a variety of educational institutions to
suit your needs.
Our EducationUSA center in Lahore is able
to provide you with information about these
institutions and their academic programs
so that you can make the right choices!
Individual advising appointments
for educational advising can be scheduled
on the phone, or by e-mail at the following

Please write or call for your appointment
at least one full week in advance.
The advisor is available on the telephone
between 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and 3.30
p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
If you send an e-mail, your message should
include your name and your particular area
of interest (ex: graduate study, undergraduate
study, and your intended major or specialization).
If the time you have chosen for an appointment
is already booked, you will receive a return
e-mail confirming an appointment for the
closest available time to the one you wanted.
Other Services:
- We provide information bulletins and
application forms for TOEFL,
SAT,
GRE,
GMAT.
These contain details about examination
dates and deadlines and how to register.
They are available from Gate Two of the
U.S. Consulate, Lahore on Monday through
Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Educational information and bulletins
are sent by mail only for those who live
outside Lahore.
- Test preparation books and software
materials for TOEFL,
SAT,
GRE,
GMAT
and USMLE
are available for students to use in the
EducationUSA advising library. Please
phone to make a reservation to use these
resources.
- College search software is installed
on computers in our advising library,
for students who wish to determine which
university is appropriate for them. These
searches factor in the intended field
of study, level of study, financial resources,
preferred size of the university, and
preferred region in the United States.
- Reference books and catalogs containing
contact addresses and admissions information
about various colleges and universities,
and books to guide you through the admissions
process are available in our library.
- Our trained educational adviser can
assist you with admissions procedures
and requirements, college selection, visa
issues, and choice of career paths.
- We are able and eager to provide workshops
for students or faculty of recognized
educational institutions in Pakistan.
- Outreach Programs into local educational
institutions, with on-campus workshops
for interested students, are scheduled
by request. Workshops and seminars are
also conducted periodically at the American
Center for the administrators of these
institutions to update or inform them
about study in the U.S.
- EducationUSA offers pre-departure orientation
services for students proceeding to the
U.S. after getting their student visas.
For students who are considering
study in the U.S., our reference library
of resources on universities and colleges
in the U.S. is open for use at no cost,
and introductory group sessions on studying
in the U.S. can be provided by prior appointment.
